IAC Electricals appoints Pratap Chandra Panda as its new CHRO, strengthening its leadership with over 22 years of strategic HR and people-centric expertise.
IAC Electricals, headquartered in Kolkata, has officially
appointed Pratap Chandra Panda as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
With over 22 years of diverse HR leadership experience spanning manufacturing,
steel and mining, R&D, FMCG, and services industries, he brings a strategic
and people-centric approach to his new role.
At IAC Electricals, he will lead key human resource
functions including workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession
planning, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership
development. His mandate is to strengthen the company’s HR framework and
cultivate a high-performing, future-ready workforce.
Prior to this appointment, Pratap served as Head HR at
Thriveni EarthMovers Pvt. Ltd., where he played a transformative role in
strategic workforce planning and industrial relations. His career also includes
leadership positions at Kurlon Enterprise Limited, Misrilall Mines, Ferro Alloys
Corporation Ltd. (FACOR), PJ Minerals International, and Shyam Metalics and
Energy Limited. He began his professional journey in talent acquisition at
Career Plan, steadily building a reputation as a trusted HR leader known for
driving change and fostering employee-centric cultures.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)
Indore, he is recognized for his agile leadership style and ability to align
business needs with innovative people solutions. His expertise spans strategic
HR planning, industrial relations, CSR, statutory compliance, training and
development, and organizational growth.
With his appointment as CHRO, IAC Electricals is poised to
