Milind Apte joins NeoLiv as Group CHRO

NeoLiv has named Milind Apte as Senior VP, Partner & Group CHRO to lead HR strategy, culture, and organisational transformation as the real estate platform expands across NCR and Mumbai-MMR markets.

NeoLiv, an integrated residential real estate platform focused on durable middle-income housing in the Delhi-NCR and Mumbai-MMR markets, has appointed Milind Apte as Senior Vice President, Partner & Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

With over 35 years of HR leadership across marquee organisations, Apte brings deep experience in strategic human capital, leadership development, organisational transformation and people-centric culture building. His track record includes senior HR roles at KEC International, CEAT Tyres, Godrej Hershey’s, Godrej Properties, DHL Express, Cadbury, Johnson & Johnson, and LIC of India.

At NeoLiv, Apte will lead the Group HR function and will be responsible for aligning talent strategy with business goals, enhancing organisational capability, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture. The real estate developer cites his leadership as key to building a resilient and agile organisation.

NeoLiv’s vision includes combining fund management with development, raising capital (including a US$150 million fund with a green-shoe option), and delivering projects with professional governance and integrity. Apte’s role would also involve strengthening the leadership pipeline, talent engagement, organisational design, and HR tech and systems to support scale and sustainability.

Founding CEO Mohit Malhotra has welcomed Apte’s appointment as a step toward reinforcing NeoLiv’s “employee-first” values, especially as the company deepens its footprint and projects in NCR and Mumbai-MMR. Apte is expected to contribute substantially to culture, people practices, and overall employer brand as NeoLiv competes in India’s evolving real estate sector.
