Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd has appointed Dwijadas Basak as CEO to lead operations, grid modernization, and renewable integration for 7M+ customers.
Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TP-DDL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of NCT Delhi, has appointed Dwijadas Basak as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Basak, who has extensive experience in the power sector, previously held leadership roles in business development, regulatory affairs, and customer service.
His mandate as CEO will be to steer TP-DDL’s operations in North and North-West Delhi, serving over 7 million customers. He will oversee grid modernization, renewable integration, and digital initiatives to improve reliability and sustainability. His appointment reflects Tata Power’s strategy of leveraging leadership talent to drive innovation and customer-centricity in the evolving power distribution landscape.
