Pocket FM has appointed Sunanda Sahoo as Vice
President – Human Resources, adding seasoned people leadership to a rapidly
scaling audio entertainment platform. Sahoo brings extensive HR experience
spanning talent acquisition, capability building, and culture programs; most
recently, she led HR for the Innerwear & Athleisure business at Aditya
Birla Fashion and Retail. At Pocket FM, her scope covers the full people
lifecycle, workforce planning for high-growth teams, employer branding to
attract scarce skills, and scalable talent processes that keep pace with
product and market expansion. The role also includes modernizing performance
architecture, advancing learning agendas for creators and tech talent, and
strengthening managerial effectiveness through coaching and structured
development pathways. As the company deepens its content and technology
investments, HR will function as an operating system, codifying how teams
collaborate, how decisions escalate, and how success is measured across
functions. Sahoo is expected to harmonize policies for hybrid work, elevate
inclusion and wellbeing programs, and weave data into HR decision-making so
leaders manage with facts, not anecdotes. For Pocket FM’s creators, engineers,
and growth teams alike, her mandate is clear: build a people engine that is
fair, fast, and future-ready, so scale enhances, not erodes, the listener
experience.
