Neelam Joshi elevated to VP – HR, Digit Insurance

Digit Insurance has promoted Neelam Joshi to Vice President – Human Resources, reflecting her growing influence and impact within the company. Joshi has been with Digit for over five years, previously serving as Associate Vice President – Human Resources. In her new role, she will lead the HR function more broadly across the organization, driving people strategy, talent initiatives, and enhancing employee experience.

Her prior experience includes working with Marsh McLennan Global Services India, ESPN, and Aviva Life Insurance Company, where she built her foundations in HR operations, business partnering, and cross-functional collaboration.

At Digit, she has played leadership roles in HRBP (Human Resources Business Partnering) for functions including Claims, Legal, Reinsurance, Investments, and more, helping align HR processes with business growth and operational needs.

As VP-HR, Joshi is expected to steer core HR priorities such as talent acquisition, leadership development, retention strategies, performance management and culture building. The promotion is also a signal of Digit’s continued investment in HR leadership as the company scales its insurance business, especially in a competitive digital insurance landscape where people capability and culture are differentiators. Joshi’s elevation aligns with Digit’s growth trajectory and its aim to make the workplace more strategic, agile, and people centric.
