Ascend Telecom Infrastructure appoints Bina Belani as Chief People Officer, strengthening its HR leadership to drive workforce transformation and people-first growth.
Ascend Telecom Infrastructure has announced the appointment
of Bina Belani as its new Chief People Officer, reinforcing its commitment to
strategic HR leadership and workforce transformation. With over two decades of
experience in human resources across multiple industries, Bina brings deep
expertise in HR strategy, talent management, change management, and
organizational development. Her career has been defined by her ability to align
people practices with business priorities and drive transformation through a
people-first approach.
Prior to joining Ascend, Bina served as Head of Human
Resources – Retail Technology at Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), where she led
transformative HR initiatives for nearly three years. She also held leadership
roles at SLK Group as Head of HRBP and at Wipro, where she managed large-scale
workforce transitions as Head of HRBP for the Product Engineering Services
cluster.
Her longest tenure was with the Vedanta Group, where she
spent close to a decade in various leadership roles, including Head HR for the
Value Addition Business and Manager – HR at Vedanta Limited (Goa). During this
time, she contributed to key initiatives in SAP implementation, diversity,
corporate communication, and talent management, while serving on critical
organizational committees such as the Ethics Committee, PF Trust, and Internal
Complaints Committee.
In her new role at Ascend Telecom Infrastructure, Bina will
focus on building strategic talent capabilities, strengthening the company’s
people and culture agenda, and supporting leadership in creating a future-ready
workforce. Her proven ability to drive transformation and foster inclusive,
high-performance environments positions her as a key catalyst in Ascend’s
growth journey.
