Swati Dalal appointed Managing Director, Zydus Healthcare Ltd

Zydus Lifesciences Ltd has appointed Swati Dalal as Managing Director and Additional Director of its wholly owned subsidiary Zydus Healthcare Ltd (ZHL), effective June 16, 2025, with a five-year term. The decision was approved by the Board and Nomination & Remuneration Committee in a regulatory filing.

Dalal brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Her career includes senior roles at Abbott India Ltd, where she last served as Managing Director, and previous leadership in Commercial, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, and Commercial Excellence functions. She began her career in Wockhardt Nutrition, then moved to Boots, and progressed through corporate transitions via Knoll and Solvay.

Her academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from PKM Kundnani College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, and a post-graduate degree in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai.

In her new role at ZHL, Swati Dalal will be responsible for overseeing all functions of the wholly owned arm, bringing commercial insight, operational leadership, and strategic growth as Zydus Healthcare advances its portfolio. Her leadership is expected to enhance access, innovation, and delivery excellence in a competitive healthcare environment. As MD, she will lead with emphasis on strategic execution, business continuity, and leveraging her cross-functional experience.
