Tenneco Inc., a U.S.-headquartered global automotive components manufacturer, has appointed Mahender Chhabra as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for India Operations. With over two decades of finance leadership across automotive and manufacturing, Chhabra brings strong expertise in strategic finance, operational controls, regulatory compliance, and business partnering.
At Tenneco India, he will oversee financial planning, treasury, taxation, audit controls, and capital management, ensuring the business is aligned with global corporate objectives. His appointment comes as Tenneco strengthens its India operations across ride performance, powertrain, and aftermarket segments.
Chhabra’s role will also include embedding financial discipline while enabling growth in a highly capital-intensive sector, where competition and regulatory requirements demand precision and agility. His leadership is expected to provide stability, governance, and innovation in financial practices, allowing Tenneco to expand its India presence confidently.
