HDFC Securities, one of India’s leading brokerage and
financial services firms, has appointed Mangalam Ganesh as Chief Technology
Officer (CTO) to drive its digital-first growth. Ganesh will be responsible for
technology strategy, architecture, and implementation across trading, research,
and investment advisory platforms. His role is to build scalable, secure, and
customer-centric solutions that can handle high transaction volumes while
ensuring seamless user experience. Areas of focus include API-based trading,
mobile-first applications, cybersecurity, AI-driven personalization, and
real-time analytics. Ganesh will align IT roadmaps with regulatory requirements
from SEBI and exchanges, ensuring compliance and operational resilience.
Internally, he will drive automation across back-office functions, reducing
manual interventions and error rates. Cloud migration, microservices adoption,
and AI/ML models for fraud detection are expected to shape his agenda. By
integrating data and intelligence into every client interaction, Ganesh’s
leadership aims to strengthen HDFC Securities’ competitive edge, expand digital
reach, and deliver investment journeys that are intuitive and secure.
