EY India, a leading professional services
organization, has appointed Gaurav Bhalotia as its new Chief Technology Officer
(CTO). In this role, Bhalotia will shape the firm’s technology vision and align
IT infrastructure with EY’s growth in consulting, tax, assurance, and strategy
services. His mandate includes driving innovation in client engagement
platforms, embedding AI and analytics into decision-making, and fortifying
cybersecurity practices to safeguard client data. With EY investing heavily in
digital transformation, Bhalotia will oversee modernization of internal
systems, the rollout of cloud-based collaboration tools, and scalable
architectures that improve agility. He will also focus on building
technology-enabled solutions for clients, particularly in areas such as
regulatory compliance, sustainability, and risk management. His leadership will
strengthen EY’s ability to deliver tech-driven value while ensuring operational
resilience.
