The journey
of Trio Treatz began in August 2025, sparked by a simple, shared love for
sweets. However, Akila and her team quickly realized they wanted to offer
something deeper than just a sugar rush. They envisioned a brand where
indulgence didn't come at the cost of health.
Based in
Tamil Nadu, India, Trio Treatz was born out of a commitment to conscious
choices. By eliminating preservatives and artificial additives, Akila replaced
them with nourishing organic millets like Karuppukavuni (Black Rice) and
natural plant-based colors. For Akila, baking is not just a business, it is a
responsibility to provide wellness in every bite.
A
Masterclass in Resilience
The true
mettle of Trio Treatz was tested early on with a daunting first order: 200
kilograms of Karuppukavuni brownies for a corporate client. Operating with
minimal equipment and limited space, the team faced a steep uphill climb.
"The
journey was physically exhausting and emotionally demanding," Akila
recalls. "But giving up was never an option." Through meticulous
planning and late-night teamwork, they successfully delivered the order on
time. This achievement became a powerful validation that women-led home
businesses possess the strength and capability to deliver excellence at a
professional scale.
Impact

Akila’s
influence extends beyond the kitchen, as she uses Trio Treatz as a platform for
community growth and education:
