Data isolation

Quip is deployed to a fully dedicated cluster within a virtual private cloud instance on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Quip VPC offers custom control of geography, regulatory regime, or networking setup that meets your specific needs.

Networking configuration

Give select members of your security teams administrative access to Quip VPC. Control all incoming and outgoing network policies and monitor all network traffic. Custom networking options include custom VPC solutions, special tunneling configurations, specialized networking setup, IP restrictions, and more.

Custom controls

Audit and specify custom controls like networking configurations, firewall rules, security audits and checks, data retention policies, PII or privacy requirements, or any other industry or customer specific regulations. You are in the driver’s seat.

Secure key management

Quip protects customer data using AES 256-bit encryption in transit and at rest. Quip VPC additionally offers a dedicated encryption key. Salesforce and the Quip service do not have direct access to your encryption keys, which are securely managed by FIPS-140-2 validated hardware security modules with built-in audit logs.
