How Mentegram Works

Mental Health Assessment and Treatment Tools

Mentegram enables the assessment of a range of conditions such as:

Clinicians access the solution through their dashboard via a web browser on their computer, tablet or smartphone. Patients enter personal data and take assessments, either through an app on their smartphones or through a web app in a web browser on a computer or tablet either in the waiting room or at home.

Library of Instruments

The Mentegram assessment solution comes with an extensive library of industry standard tools and questionnaires.

Additionally, it provides the clinicians with an opportunity to modify these tests or create new ones and save them in their personal or group practice library.

Automated Calculations

Rapid calculations and scoring can provide clinicians with standardized measurements that give them an opportunity to diagnose and recommend further tests, referrals and plans of treatment.

Mentegram customers typically us the system as a patient onramp and front-end to their Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Patients enter their personal data and provide initial assessments that can be imported into the EHR. Mentegram recently developed a video conferencing solution, with the goal of offering it as one of the front end assessment tools for a telemedicine solution, expanding access for patients.

Insurance Reimbursement

Mentegram helps clinicians easily capture data for which they can realize standard and additional insurance reimbursements. By collecting data applicable to outpatient-billing codes (96103, 96127, 99213->99214->99215), Mentegram has calculated that a single clinician can recoup an additional $50,000 per year in insurance reimbursement revenue. Typically, this incremental income is not being accessed due to the workflow challenge in capturing it and requesting reimbursement.

Treatment With the Patient’s Phone

A great deal of value for clinicians and patients is derived by engaging patients during treatment. Because this can be done remotely utilizing mobile apps (and now video), clinicians can optimize their time and patients can get reminders where and when they need them.

The clinician is more efficient. The patient stays on track, takes their medication and can be monitored for changes, all leading to better outcomes.
